Peter Benson Head Coach Varsity Boys Soccer

Peter has been the Assistant coach for LSHS Boys Varsity soccer since 2006. Prior to this he was Lakeville HS Junior Varsity coach for Boys soccer for 5 years. He is also a teacher at LSHS in the World Language Department.
Peter played soccer for the Inferno (Division I MN Amateur Soccer League) from 1999-2004 and was on the Division I State Championship team in 1999. He also was a 4-year Varsity starter for Concordia College and was team captain in 1996 when they won the MIAC Championship.
Peter received his BA from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN

Erik Anderson Assistant Coach Varsity Boys Soccer
Erik graduated Lakeville H.S. (before the North/South split) in 2004, in which he was a 2-year starter and All-Conference both years.  In his senior year he was a captain, team MVP, and All-Metro Area honorable mention.
Upon graduating H.S. Erik attended DIII UW-Platteville and became a 4-year starter at defense.  As a 3-year captain he led the defense to a .423 goals-against-average, 5th in the nation, and 11 shutouts, a school record.  His senior year, UWP went to the NCAA national tournament.
Erik received his B.S. from Platteville in Industrial Engineering in May 2010.

Ron has been Assistant coach at St. Paul Academy 2008-2009 prior to coming to LSHS Boys Soccer. He has also coached for the Dakota Rev Soccer Club.
From June 2004-Jan 2008 Ron was Co-Owner of MN Thunder & MN lightning professional soccer Clubs.
Ron received a Marketing degree form Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1994.
